All operators must demonstrate through theory and practical hands-on exposure, their ability to safely operate a Aerial Scissor Lift in their work environment(s) through Safe Work Practices and Procedures as a Competent Aerial Scissor Lift operator in compliance with both the Occupational Health and Safety Act& Regulations stated under the CAN/CSA-B35.4 Portable Elevating Workplatform Training Standards. Employers are responsible to ensure the operator(s) be provided the required instruction to demonstrate Aerial Scissor Lift operation Safe Work Practices and Procedures under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
•Operation and safety features of the Aerial Scissor Lift the operator will use•Operator safety and all site specific safety issues at the work place•Maintenance, fuel sources and procedures (battery operation and propane)•Written test (maybe retaken as necessary) •Workbook providedWhen written test has been successfully completed, operator(s) will be scheduled for practical hands-on Aerial Scissor Lift operator training and evaluation at their work environment.
•Pre-operational inspection •Operating Aerial Scissor Lift in work environmentThis training program is tailored to industrial and warehouse customers, providing an excellent service with minimal work time interference. Within one (1) week after the training is completed, the certificate(s) 8 ½ X 11 and wallet size will be mailed to the company for which the service was rendered.•Location for theory classroom instruction: Client work environment •Date & Time for theory classroom instruction: As per client requirement and availabilty •Location for hands-on practical demonstration by operator(s): Client work environment •Date & Time for hands-on practical demonstration by operator(s): Regular work hours at client work environment•Cost: $300.00+ 39.00HST = $339.00 X ____ Participant(s) = $ _______________•Recertification training required every three years.
